The AEV Program offers advanced education opportunities and provides financial assistance to senior enlisted personnel (E-7 to E-9) to complete a bachelor's or master’s Navy-relevant degree in designated areas of study through off-duty education.
For more information regarding the Advanced Education Voucher program or to submit AEV paperwork, complete a Help Request and select the "AEV/GEV" category.
Here are the instructions that govern the AEV program:
The Professional Military Education (PME) programs of the Naval War College prepare leaders for the challenges of operational and/or strategic level leadership over the remainder of their careers as decision makers and problem solvers.
Commissioning Programs include the Naval Academy, Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC), Limited Duty Officer/Chief Warrant Officer (LDO/CWO), Seaman to Admiral 21 (STA-21), and Medical Enlisted Commissioning Program (MECP). These programs offer a chance for qualified enlisted sailors to complete college and earn a commission as a Naval Officer.
Enlisted sailors may apply for enrollment in a 12-month Master of Science in Applied Cyber Operations program at the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) to satisfy a need to increase the Navy’s cyber capabilities while building a professional cyber workforce.
