- Navy COOL
Navy Credentialing Opportunities On-Line (COOL) helps Navy Service members find information on certifications and licenses related to their jobs or completed academic degrees/certificates.
- USMAP
The United Services Military Apprenticeship Program (USMAP) is a formalized, structured training program that combines on-the-job training (OJT) and related technical and practical instruction that provides active duty Service members the opportunity to improve their job skills and to complete civilian apprenticeship requirements. A Department of Labor Certificate of Completion of Apprenticeship is awarded upon completion of the program. USMAP requires no off-duty hours and there is no cost to the Service member.
- JST
The Joint Services Transcript (JST) is document approved by the American Council on Education (ACE) to validate a Service members military occupational experience and training along with the corresponding ACE college credit recommendations... You can obtain your JST by registering into the JST system.
- DANTES
Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES) is the Defense Human Resource Activity (DHRA) component that provides consolidated management of Defense Voluntary Education (VolEd) programs. DANTES helps Service members achieve education goals, advance in military careers, and transition into the civilian workforce at the conclusion of military service.
- AEV
The Advance Education Voucher Program (AEV) enables selected senior enlisted personnel (E-7 to E-9) to obtain a Navy-relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in designated areas of study through off-duty education at any U.S. Department of Education (DOE) accredited institution. The AEV program provides 100% funding for tuition, books, and related approved fees within guidelines and funding limits.
- GEV
The Graduate Education Voucher program (GEV) was established to provide increased opportunity and incentive for selected Unrestricted Line (URL) officers who wish to obtain a master’s degree during off-duty hours. The GEV Program enables selected officers, with demonstrated superior performance and potential for future contributions to the Navy, to earn a Navy-relevant master’s degree leading to an approved subspecialty while meeting other Navy needs.
